Bellarocca Island Resort and Spa ( Day 2 ) - Hitting The Beach

There's nothing quite so wonderful as waking up to a lovely morning! Cousin Rome found a card slipped under the door wondering what it could be. It was an invitation for a free sunset cocktail by the beach at 5:00 PM! Since we weren't prepared for the occasion, we just decided to wear our matching green outfits.
After a pleasing breakfast we hit the beach for some kayaking. The beach was quite rocky and corally we had to borrow aqua socks from the Aqua Sports Center to protect our feet. It was hard to wade in the water without aqua socks! The beach slopes down quite steeply I was having a hard time going back to the shore and they were laughing at me beacuse I was trying to swim back but I was just floating and not moving at all! lol! My sister had to pull me back to the shore. By the way, I was wearing a life vest. I won't dare swim without it! hehe! After kayaking, we plunged into the swimming pool once again until we got exhausted then we headed back to our terraza to recharge our drained body. We had lunch then took a nap for a few hours before heading off to the pier for the cocktails at sunset. Alcoholic and non alcoholic sunset cocktails were prepared for the guests. One is called Ice Bear which is a concoction of gin, creme de menthe green, Creme de cacao and pineapple juice. The other one is lemon grass iced tea.
