Venue: Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga
Where we stayed: Euro Tour Hotel International (P3,000/night for a Suite Room)
contact no.09159154685/(045) 8926913
Since the hot air balloon flights will start at 5:30 in the morning (we thought so!) and we couldn't leave early from our place , I thought of booking a hotel room around Clark but to no avail. They were all fully booked! We just decided to find a hotel room outside Clark Freeport Zone once we get there. We were able to find a hotel room but the only available room was the Suite room that only had 1 double bed and a sofa bed. We had to avail an extra mattress (P600) since there were 7 of us.The hotel was 15 minutes away from the venue. I think I'll book a room at Euro Tour Hotel again just in case we decided to attend next year's hot air balloon festival but we'll avail a cheaper room.
Aside from hot air balloon flights, there were also lots of exhibits and fun activities such as Paragliding Exhibition, Aerobatic Air Show, Skydiving Exhibition, Aerobatic Flight Display and a lot more. The kids wanted to fly a kite but we had to go back to our hotel room to freshen up, prepare for our next destination and check out.
We decided to attend on the second day ( friday) since it will be jam packed on weekends.

We got there at 500:Am

We were lucky enough to be able to reserve a spot.

At 6:00AM, balloons were starting to inflate

Getting ready to take off!

I love this cake shaped balloon!

The daisy and panda shaped balloons are a darling!

Paraglider

at 7:20 AM every balloon has flown up away except for the daisy, panda and the one behind us. I'm not sure what went wrong. The daisy shaped balloon was able to take off a few meters above the ground but surprisingly descended slowly towards the ground.

Unlimited use of props for picture taking (P20/pax)

Our Hotel Room

Overall it was a delightful experience! The kids were overjoyed! Who couldn't be happier if you get to spend wonderful happy moments with loved ones. It sure was a joyous day for all of us!

Wah, nasa list ko dina ng hot air balloon festival pero sa kasawiang palad hindi ako nakapag-leave kaya next year lang ulit.
You got a great spot. Sabi nga nila dapat daw early bird kasi palaging crowded lalo na pag weekend. The room were you stayed is nice too. But the most important thing is you enjoyed the event with your family.
saya naman nito! kaka-engget! wish ko lang maka-attend din ako ng ganito. swerte ng mga bagets at laging bitbit sa mga larga nyo ah :D

what a happy bunch! it's a great idea that you decided to check in at the hotel. i read from comments in FB that many people were caught in traffic going to the venue and did not get to see that many balloons, and were disappointed. So glad you were able to maximized the experience. i love the photos!

oh, how fun! I've never been on a hot air balloon before.
I did hear that this is such a popular event. Lucky that you found a wonderful room to crash in. And good thinking in going there on a weekday. Di ako makadecide kung alin ang pinakacool na balloon - but I love the cake one too =)
And syempre it was all more special coz you were there with your family.
Saya =)

gusto ko din ulit bumalik para makapag-picture ng balloons! di pa ganoon ka-sikat ang hot air balloon fiesta when we saw it. konti lang tao so OK lang late dumating. though i think it's better now kasi mas madaming makikita.

Hi Anney! Sorry, dito ko na sasagutin yung tanong mo regarding the Charlie Brown musical. Medyo mahal sya as compared to the other plays I've been to, pero less expensive naman than Mamma Mia. Hehehe! If I remember correctly, the cheapest ticket for the CB musical is around 700 or 800. You can check Ticketworld din. =)
beautiful and colorful balloons Sis
:-) Visiting late from Color Connection, hope that you can return the visit too.

if u plan to try the pancake, it's 1/4 tsp bicard. Instead of 1 1/4 tsp, typo error!
Do they have a Kite Flying? I really love kites.
such a colorful post! love the kiddo's smiles!
For us, that meant that we had to be on site at 6:45am. Many companies also offer to pick you up at your hotel for a small additional charge. Our adventure began when we meet our Rainbow Ryders crew at the launch site.
