Lunch And Dinner at a Local Restaurant in Shenzen, China

Our package tour includes an overnight stay at Gorgeous Fad Hotel in Shenzhen, China. Our tour guide in Shenzhen picked us up and brought us to this Chinese Restaurant for lunch before we proceeded to the compulsory City tour. I won't elaborate about the city tour coz it wasn't interesting at all. The lunch was included in the package. There was an optional tour to Window of the World on our own account. ( I'll make a separate post about this tour.) Each of us paid US$45 inclusive of dinner. We were brought to the same Chinese restaurant for dinner. Food was ok but poor customer service! After dinner we were given an hour to shop before heading to our hotel.

An hour isn't enough to go shopping!

I bought these goodies from the mini grocery just beside our Hotel

Dyan din kami kumain nung tour namin. Yung clams ang nagustuhan ko.

Aiyor...those goodies! Are they safe or not? Lots of stuff from Taiwan banned - too much preservatives. I think China is not much better. Better don't eat too much products from there...

I remember when we went on a tour here many years ago, lovely memories. Yummy ang food but you're right, really poor customer service!

Will look forward to your next post- hindi kasi kami tulumoy noon sa Window of the World, sabi namin for next time pero dina kami nakabalik. Sa post mo na lang kami papasyal =)

Thanks a lot for dropping by =)

I guess it is better to travel without a tour guide. So that your hours won't be limited. :)

was in the restaurant field for close to 4 years, and I know that everything is premade, boxed, bagged, and full of blubber ready to be assembled. I love that I get the same great flavor, without the excess fat and preservatives. It's healthy, full of flavor, and I already have all of the ingredients in my kitchen.

Hello Anney! Hmm. Sarap naman! Nagutom na naman ako!

That's why I do not like China that much. People there are snobbish. They say it's because they are uneasy to speak in English. I don't know.

Delicious food! Yum!

Have a nice day!

Seems like the food in Shenzen are the same food that I can buy here in Chinatown Binondo.

So, kung gagala ako d'yan ang pupuntahan ko ay hindi yung restaurant na tulad niyan. Maghahanap ako ng native cuisine na hindi ko mahahanap sa Binondo.
