Pancakes in fun shapes

I purchased a set of silicone pancake molds a few months ago and was able to use them yesterday. Instead of making plain old round pancakes, I made some pancakes in cute shapes. I grew up eating pancakes with evaporated milk, sugar and butter. Sounds weird but yummy! I wonder if we are the only ones who eat pancakes this way. lol! I sometimes crave for the evap milk, butter and sugar combo but my taste buds sure have changed over time. I am now fond of eating pancakes with lots of whipped butter and maple syrup. How do you eat your pancakes?

update: The first commenter demands that I should link her post about the pancakes with evaporated milk, butter and sugar. This is for all the curious! lol! link here

Making whipped butter for pancakes:

1 stick of butter + 1/4 cup of cold milk
Beat on high speed until light and fluffy.

The butter turns a bit white and is easy to spread. .

Pancake bear, sliced bananas and chocolate chips

Star shaped pancake and sliced kiwis

Heart shaped pancake, maraschino cheries and blackberries.

Pancake caterpillar and strawberry jam

Star shaped chocolate pancake with m&ms and apple slices

My mom was feeding the kiddos. They ate pancakes before, during and after swimming!

I love your pancakes! Very creative, Anney! I'm sure gustong-gusto din ng mga kids.

My pancakes are straight from the book, iyong ready to cook ones where you will just add water, hehe. Lazy talaga ako mag concoct ng food. That's why bilib talaga ako sa creativity and tiyaga mo, Anney! Keep it up!!! :)

Oops, what I meant was 'straight from the box', not 'straight from the book'. Typo error, sorry. :)
