I assembled this cupcake bouquet for Ykaie's garden themed party. I didn't use buttercream frosting for the cupcakes coz I was afraid it will melt and fall apart due to the hot weather. I used melted chocolate and colorful sprinkles. It set quickly and perfectly!
I used a glue gun to attach the styrofoam ball into the embellished terracotta pot. I then glued some strips of green japanese paper all over the styro for a grassy effect.
I inserted bamboo skewers into the styrofoam ball and attached the cupcakes all the way around. (You can also use toothpicks)

I was also planning to arrange the fruit skewers into a terracotta pot but I saw this picket fence planter box and thought it was cute. I used a floral foam for the base and embellished the planter box with vines and a ladybug.
Cookie cutters I used to cut out shapes.
Ain't they pretty?

This is the candy buffet I set up. The kids as well as the adults had fun filling up their loot bags!

Ykaie's Dirt cake with gummy worms. I cooked chocolate pudding and alternately layered it with crushed oreo cookies.

Wow, I can imagine the patience and the dedication you put on doing these! I also used to do the cookie cutter thing because it's really fun to shape (just about anything nga eh!) breads before they are toasted.

That good agreement, it seems very difficult to make. I want to learn.
I would like to know where you got the banner? Please :)
@ anonymous: Hi! I made the banner myself using colorful cardstocks and printed scrapbooking papers. I punched holes and joined them together using a ribbon. A close up pic can be seen here
Hello. Wondering if I could use your lovely 'fruit skewer' picture (no 5) for reference on an Australian website launching later this year.
I will give full credit to you and/or your blog.
Please could you email me on charlottaward@y7mail.com
Many thanks

P.S. Loving the blog. It's fantastic!
nakakatuwa naman! your so creative. =)
I love this!! its really cute...i was wondering though...r those regular cupcakes or mini cupcakes?
Hi Erica! Thanks for the visit. Those are regular cupcakes.
I want to have a go at this, but wondered how you attached the centres for the pineapple & melon flowers?
@ Anonymous: Cut a toothpick in half and use it to attach the strawberry to the pineapple. The one's in watermelon flowers are maraschino cherries.
brilliant thanks!
Amazing party! What was your budget?
Hi! I'm DYING to make the picket fence planter/fruit skewers for my daughter's 1st birthday. Where did you find that planter box? I can't find one as cute as that one!
Hi Tiffany! I bought the picket fence planter box from landmark, trinoma. ( floral section).
hello. just askin... i wonder if you're willing to make a profit out of ur creativity? im interested on your works. i have my kiddos party comming up on june and planning to have a fruiquet as a table centerpiece. ;-) uhm, nhhiya ako, but would you be interested? thanks
@Gail: Hi Gail! Thanks for dropping by. Sorry ha pero I'm not doing these stuffs for a profit e kasi busy ako sa work.
hi anney, i really wish we have those cute, sweet items easily available here. it is hard to find colorful sprinkles and even food colorings here, kapag nakakita naman, too expensive.. i might hoard them when we visit pinas :-)
am back, my IC is celebrating her 8th birthday in two weeks and am researching her handa in your blog, hahaha.
we would do it in a horse stall, waaaa... so dapat garden theme just like above! wish me luck!
