Paella Negra

I cooked this dish last Sunday. Here's the recipe.

1 cup rice
1 cup glutinuos rice
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
squid rings
green peas
bell pepper, sliced
2 bouillon cubes
salt and pepper to taste
squid ink
4 cups of water
lemon wedges/slices


Wash the rice and set aside
Sautee garlic and onion. Cook until onion caramelizes.
Add the rice and pour in water
Add bouillon cubes and squid ink
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste
If it's getting too dry, add more water. Arrange seafood and veggies on top.
Cook until done.
garnish with lemon wedges/slices

ano pa nga ba, e di masarap na naman ang entry mo..puro ba naman pagkain to or ulam..kakagutom ano? minsan kukuha ako ng recipe dito para masubukan nga..

looks yummy to me. you must be a really good cook, your hubby is very lucky. post more recipe, i will try this but I don't know about the squid ink. :)

Don't use glutinous rice. Use calasparra or bomba rice from Spain so it will not be sticky. Paella is not supposed to be sticky. If not available or too expensive, use any short grained rice.
